About the event
This course is only open to snow sports instructors with a federal certificate.  The course can be taken on skis (touring skis with skins and poles) or  snowboard (snowboard with snowshoes or splitboard and telescopic poles).
For snowsport instructors aiming for a federal license, it is  recommended to alternate between a standard course every two years and a  backcountry course two years later.
